Summer school 2019
Clover Park School District provides summer school programming to students in grades 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 11 and 12. At both elementary and middle schools, students who would benefit from additional academic support are identified and invited to attend the summer school program. The high school program focuses on credit retrieval for eligible students.
Elementary summer school runs June 24 to July 3, from 7:45-11 a.m., at Four Heroes, Lakeview, Park Lodge, Tillicum and Tyee Park elementary schools for students in grades 2, 3 and 4. Transportation is provided. Breakfast and lunch will be served. There is no cost to families to participate.
Middle school summer school runs June 24 to July 3, from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at Lochburn Middle School. Transportation is provided and breakfast and lunch will be served. There is also no cost to participate.
High school credit retrieval is available to 11th- and 12th-graders and seniors who did not graduate to retake courses students failed or did not complete. Counselors will work with students to identify which classes students need to re-take. Meals are provided, students will receive bus passes and there are funds to cover the cost of the program if students are eligible.
