About the Department

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a planned program of courses, activities, and learning experiences that connect school and work. CTE provides opportunities for all students to choose career-related coursework and workplace experiences that will advance them from school to post-secondary placement.

Students are more likely to succeed when they see a purpose to their studies. By linking academic lessons to real-world activities and situations, CTE helps to improve student motivation and academic performance, and prepares students to choose careers of interest.

CTE Mission

The Career and Technical Education department of Clover Park School District provides relevant programs of study that prepare each student to thrive in their future career.

CTE Vision

The district has the oversight and responsibility for preparing student for the current workforce. All Clover Park School District students have access to similar opportunities at their schools. The district will continue to expand partnerships with local partners.
